Lutein is one of the 700 or so carotenoids found in fruits and vegetables. Lutein in the free form has a high bioavailability and is a potent free radical scavenger. Studies show Lutein in a protective role against cataracts and age-related macular degeneration (AMD). Main Applications:
- Antioxidant
- Macular degeneration
- Cataract prevention
60 X 20mg capsules of AOR's Lutein.
Recommended Dose: unless otherwise directed take 1 capsule per day. Active ingredients contained in 1 capsule:
20mg Lutein free form (from Marigold petal extract-Tagetes erecta)
0.78mg Zeaxanthin
